Here are some photos from my week in Istanbul.
The swedish general consulate. We had the opportunity to meet the boss of the swedish research institute.
On the other side of the road is the former russian embassy.
Ingången till Topkapipalatset.
Entrance to the Topkapi Palace.
Vy över Bosporen från takterassen på hotellet.
Wiew from the roof terrace on the hotel over the Bospore.
Från en av de moskéer vi besökte.
Inside a mosque we visited.
I have more photos I could show you but I will finish with a photo from a carpet shop that we had the opportunity to visit and see a sample of how the turkish carpets are made. They are done with a different technique from the persian carpets. How that is done I don’t have a photo of. I filmed it instead but I have this photo of the beautiful carpets.
